Meals On Wheels
Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious, ready-to-enjoy meals directly to homebound individuals who may have difficulty preparing food on their own. With caring volunteers and dependable service, each delivery brings both a healthy meal and a friendly connection, helping support comfort, independence, and peace of mind.
Request Meals
Meals are prepared at the Guilford Community Center and delivered Monday through Friday between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Optional frozen weekend meals are delivered on Friday. Meal selection is flexible - order only the meals you want or pick the days that you would like to receive meals.
The cost per meal is based on a sliding scale: $5.25 per meal or less, depending on the client’s financial situation. There are NO age or financial restrictions. No state or federal funds are used - Meals on Wheels is a community-supported program based on our motto “Neighbor helping Neighbor".​

Inclement Weather
Please call the office at 203-453-8359 to learn if Guilford Meals On Wheels has been cancelled.

Our drivers will deliver in snow, but not in ice. When bad weather is forecasted, meals may be delivered the day before or meals may be delivered earlier in the day, or later in the day. For the safety of of drivers, please keep your walks clear of ice and snow. We urge you to keep canned goods, etc. on your shelves for emergencies.

Just a small amount of your time helps ensure that neighbors who can’t easily leave their homes receive nutritious meals and a friendly check-in.
